The Fall Member Meeting of the Chesapeake Catalina Yacht Club was held November 16, 2019 at the Paladar Latin Kitchen and Rum Bar in Annapolis, MD. 15 crews were there:
The meeting started at 12:00 noon with a social hour. Following the social period, lunch was served.
Following lunch, Charlene Osman introduced our guest speaker, Shannon Hibbard. Ms. Hibbard is a National Geographic photo editor, Spinsheet photographer and avid sailor. Next year, Ms. Hibbard will join the all-female sailing research project, EXXpedition, whose mission is to investigate the causes of and solutions to ocean plastic pollution. Following the presentation, Commodore Kearney conducted a short business meeting.
