CCYC Pool Party and Crab Feast

Greetings CCYC Members,

Barb and I are looking forward to seeing everyone at our Pool Party here in Annapolis on Saturday, August 20. The party starts a little later this year at 4:00 p.m..

The pool party this year will have a special treat with the showing of Captain Ron viewed on a 22 ft screen by the pool. Everyone can float and enjoy the movie in comfort. The show will start approximately around 9:00 p.m. and will run for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Party Schedule

• 4:00 p.m.: Pool Party starts
• 4:00 p.m.: Appetizers
• 5:00 p.m.: Dinner served
• 7:30 p.m.: Pool Volleyball Game
• 9:00 p.m.: Showing of Captain Ron

You have two options for dinner:

1. Crabs (up to 6 large), with burgers, hot dogs, corn, coleslaw, potato salad, and drinks (water, coke, wine, and beer) for $30 a person, along with bringing a favorite dish to share with the group
2. Mini crab cakes, with burgers, hot dogs, corn, coleslaw, potato salad, and drinks (water, coke, wine, and beer) for $10 a person, along with bringing a favorite dish to share with the group

When you RSVP, please let us know which and how many of each option you want. You can submit your payment to the CCYC Treasure either by credit card or by mailing a check made out to CCYC to:

Payments should be received by the Treasurer Joe by August 14.

If there is something special that you like to drink, please bring your favorite with you.

Also, please let us know if you are coming by car or by boat. If you plan to come by car, there is parking for six cars easy and two additional cars in the front yard. We will shuttle folks from a parking area if there are more than eight cars. (Location) If you plan to come by boat, you can moor outside Cove of Cork and on the other side of the route 50 bridge. Dinghies are more than welcome to tie up to our dock. (Location)

Make sure to bring your bathing suit and a towel.

Keep an eye out for an email by 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug 17. We will decide if we need to reschedule because of weather by that time. The rain date will be the following Saturday, August 27. If anyone would like to change their dinner order, we must have the information NLT 8:00 p.m., Wednesday Aug 17.
